Experience a relaxed comfortable cruise on Ohana to a deserted island, try snorkelling or explore the coastline with our sit-on kayaks and RIB. From a day trip to Motuihe Island or Rangitoto Island to a two week holiday exploring the whole Hauraki Gulf, we can create the perfect experience for you. On longer holidays we can range as far as the beautiful Bay of Islands in the North or Great Barrier Island and the Bay of Plenty in the East.

You can relax on the beach, take a romantic sunset harbour cruise or make up your own itinerary for a special event (or simply to create your own perfect day!). If you're keen to get involved in sailing Ohana then we'll teach you everything you need to know in order to sail and navigate Ohana yourself.

Whether you enjoy an active day on the water or simply basking in the sun, our friendly, professional crew will make sure your experience is unforgettable.

We can pick you up or drop you off at Viaduct harbour, right in the heart of Auckland's shops, hotels and nightlife, just five minutes walk from the transport hub of Britomart. We also offer a wide variety of alternative pick up and drop off points including Bayswater, Waiheke Island and Half Moon Bay - please enquire. We also offer one-way trips to destinations such as Coromandel or Waiheke.

Popular destinations include:

Tiri Tiri Matangi island

Tiri Tiri Matangi island: A wildlife sanctuary teeming with native birds and wildlife. Our crew member Ngaire has a degree in Ecology and she will be happy to tell you all about the birds, animals, sea life and plants you will see on your cruise. Keep your eyes open to spot dolphins, whales and penguins on the way there!

Waiheke island: Famous for wines, craft markets and a relaxed pace of life, Waiheke has dozens of beaches and coves to choose from. We can anchor in a secluded bay all to ourselves or we can take you ashore in the RIB to a top

quality restaurant or to visit a winery or vineyard for a wine tasting experience. Don't forget to try the olives grown on the island too!

Kawau island: Ideal for a longer trip, Kawau island is sheltered, peaceful and secluded. It also has plenty to

explore including beautiful scenic walks to a historic mansion house, tea rooms and old mine workings.

Driving creek railway, coromandel

Coromandel: The historic and picturesque gold mining town of Coromandel is a long way round from Auckland by road but only a few hours over the water under sail! There's lots to visit including gold mines, water gardens, restaurants and a narrow gauge mountain railway, plus stunning scenery all around.

Te Kouma Harbour: Only a few miles from Coromandel , Te Kouma harbour is a well kept secret, only accessible by water and completely

unspoilt. Te Kouma is one of the best natural harbours in the world. This sheltered spot is an

ideal place to get out the kayaks or windsurfer and explore on your own, or if adrenaline is your

thing we can tow you around in our inflatable ski biscuit with the RIB!

Auckland City: Our home mooring is right at the heart of vibrant Auckland city with all it has to offer just a short walk away. If you prefer to eat at a Michelin-starred restaurant, enjoy the nightlife or visit the many tourist attractions then we have the option to return to Auckland for the night at any time during your charter. We can also provide accomodation on board at a

Te Kouma Harbour

reduced rate for part or all of your charter if you don't go sailing. If we're unlucky enough to get a day of bad weather then there's plenty to do within walking distance - you'll find most other charter yachts are based a very long way from the action.

Hauraki gulf islands

We can also sail to any number of other uninhabited islands and secluded private beaches where you can explore ashore, see the colourful marine life with a snorkel or simply sit back and relax with a book in the sunshine, many miles away from the nearest people.

Rangitoto is a brand new island! Only a few hundred years ago it erupted out of the harbour and is now the closest island to Auckland, ideal for a day trip. You can climb to the summit of the volcano for stunning views across Auckland city and out across the other islands towards Coromandel.

The options are endless and we have barely started to describe them! Contact us to talk about your interests

and we'll make sure to create the perfect experience just for you.

We can also offer a luxury private ferry / water taxi service to or from any of the Hauraki gulf islands. If you have a large group then the price per person could be comparable to the scheduled ferries but the experience will not be!
